Residents are entitled to safe, respectful care and informed participation. This page is aligned with Michigan AFC expectations and chapter 7 mental health rights references cited in the 2025 AFC rules.

Facilities must provide protection and supervision appropriate to each resident, including response plans for incidents, emergencies, and mobility limitations.
