What this role is responsible for.
This role is designed for a hands-on leader who can balance direct resident support with operational oversight. U&I Home Care is looking for someone who can coach staff, maintain compliance, and keep documentation, incidents, medication administration, and daily routines aligned with expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily site operations and help maintain strong direct care quality across the team.
- Review staffing coverage, shift readiness, and escalation needs for weekends and holidays.
- Lead compliance work involving notes, incidents, medication workflows, and licensing standards.
- Support staff coaching, accountability, and communication across the home.
- Help keep resident routines, documentation, and safety expectations consistent and audit-ready.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in caregiving, group-home, adult foster care, or a comparable care environment.
- CPR and First Aid readiness are preferred and can be reviewed during hiring.
- Strong comfort with compliance, medication administration expectations, and staff coordination.
- Ability to balance operational leadership with resident-centered care and documentation follow-through.
